Chronicles of a Runs Girl: Episode 3

It wasn’t easy making those contacts at home. Exams are over: all wards are in their parents’ house, coupled with ASUU strike, but I can’t stay at home. My financial status is reducing and the freedom of exploitation lies not in this house. SIWES was the next lie. I had to go back to school, I told them at home. They still gathered the small money they had for me and off I went. My co-workers were in school, all looking for the next hook. We were now very conscious and attentive, any rich man’s contact can change your life. And never bring friends close to the source. Lolade called me from UK to apologize, that it wasn’t what I thought. What are you doing in UK I asked? He said General got her admission at Greenwich University. I broke into tears as the line went off.

The next move was from Deborah. She is the leader of another crew. They are not as exposed as my crew. They still follow small boys and less of daddies. If you’re young, I felt I despised you. Elderly people are foolishly good. Deborah has invited me to a groove in Ibadan. We’ll be flying to Lagos, and a driver is taking us straight to Ibadan.

The flight to Lagos was by 10.30 am and by 11.30 Murtala Mohammed airport greeted us. The driver was there calling like they paid him eternity to bring us. A little hold up around town because it was Friday, and in two and half hours we were at thornberry hotel in Ibadan. Three guys welcomed us into the room and my conception of RUNZ was about to disappear. I’ve never seen guys that handsome and neat before. I fell for the three of them. They were tall, chocolate in colour, not heavily built, good intonation, lovely faces, neat skin and the final I discovered later was they had plenty of money.

They were doctors working in Sheffield. They came for a friend’s wedding. I lost composure seeing them. For the first time in my life, I’m in the midst of some guys and I’m fidgeting.

My intonation changed also like I’ve been to London. I wanted to lie but I just played along. They were not heavy beer drinkers, they prefer spirits and brandy. Hennessey was Abdul’s favourite and that was the guy that caught my attention. He spoke like he knew everything, and was definite in his conversations. Whatever he says sounded right to me. I was willing to have sex with him for nothing, even though I knew he would give me something. It was 1 a.m and we just had our bath. I didn’t feel like sleeping, same with Abdul. So we started talking. Getting to know ourselves as if it was leading us somewhere. For every revelation I get from him, my money increases. I didn’t know they paid doctors that much in Sheffield, I would have studied medicines. We talked to a point and I had to ask him if he wasn’t interested in me. He said casually, we’ll get there. I started doubting my beauty.

We woke in our arms without any sexual activities and I felt the night was wasted. Apart from the economic aspect, I needed a man in me. It’s being a while. The knock on the door woke him up and he told room service he’ll call them. Are you coming for the wedding he asked, and I told him if I can get a gown?

He slipped his hands inside my nightgown and started the promiscuous activity we were there for. The animal in him was one of the best animals I’ve ever had. This intercourse was natural. No protection was involved. I felt it, I loved it and I wanted more.

The boutique downstairs had my size and off we went for the wedding. We automatically became close, and we talked like we were dating. He received a call and called the person baby, curiously I asked if he was married and he said about to. The interest was now getting reduced. I felt cheated again, but I didn’t show it. I would have gone for Humphrey I thought; but let Sunday come and my account balance must increase, love was cancelled.

We didn’t stay too long at the wedding reception and we were back in the hotel. We were at the pool side till I needed to change to my slippers. He gave me the key to the room and a complementary card he got from a friend at the wedding. The guy that gave him was obviously one of them, thus I saved the name and number on my phone for future references. I was supposed to help him bring paracetamol from his box, thus he told me the combination. I was amazed when I opened the box. Inside was $3450, £2500. I counted it and returned, but something told me to steal a little. I didn’t. I walked back still acting like a girlfriend and asking what’s going to happen to us.

There is a friend of mine who need a wife in Nigeria. I’ll talk to him about you and probably hook you people up. So you are fucking your friend’s wife? We laughed and forgot about it. Now I know nothing can come between us. In a short while Abdul was off to the room, so I and Humphrey were the only one talking. We got a little tipsy, as I escorted him into his room to continue the conversation and smoke some cigarettes. He started getting close to me, and suddenly I couldn’t resist his push. I had a feeling I was messing up but, there was nothing between me and Abdul. Nobody knows if Humphrey would prefer me to Abdul, I slowly zipped his trouser down, as I got a grip of his manhood. It was quite a large one, but not too big for me to swallow. We tumbled ourselves till five a.m. At this point, I didn’t know what I was doing again.

Abdul came to Humphrey’s room in the morning, and saw both of us naked under the duvet. He obviously knew something went wrong, but didn’t express anything. We played as he later went upstairs to get me my clothes. I was in the bathroom when Humphrey came in and another episode started again. I was too loud that Abdul needed to join us. It was now two guys on me and I felt it so great. The early afternoon produced a driver and Deborah. They got a flight from the Ibadan airport straight to Abuja. She looked pale and worn out. They had stayed in another hotel, and it’s obvious the guy hasn’t been this romantic.

Humphrey gave me twenty five thousand and a kiss, Abdul gave me $500 with a wave. I left my charger upstairs I remembered. Running upstairs to get my charger Abdul gave me his key. The box was on the bed and I could see the money. The spirit was willing but the flesh was weak thus I followed the flesh. My hands went straight to the pounds and I took all. I came back downstairs in a rush, after locking the door and off we went. I needed to keep the money, or better just tell Deborah about it.

It took thirty minutes to the airport. We were waiting to board: suddenly Deborah’s phone rang and it was Abdul calling. Deborah picked and passed the phone to me. I would just tell him the truth I thought.
He said: I miss you baby, I miss you too I said.
Let me know when you get to Abuja.
Alright dear and the line went off.
This is my best adventure I said.

ATTENTION PLEASE: ALL FLIGHTS ARE BEING DELAYED NOW DUE TO WEATHER ….
And now my phone rang and it was Abdul calling……..
