A Fulani boy by name, Musa was today caught in Issele-Uku/Issele-Mkpitime bush where he had escaped to after robbing a bike man by the Issele-Uku/Issele-Mkpitime boundary, just in front of Chief Sam Olele's house. The joint vigilance group of the two towns had mobilized into the bush on a tip off that Fulani Herdsmen were causing mayhem along the road.
According to the victim, one Mr. Ngekwu who said on sighting the Fulani boys on the road trying to flag him down, he tried to escape but they just commanded their cows to block the road. As soon as he ran into the cows, the boys numbering four jumped on him on the ground in brutal manner, still pinned down they collected his phone and N10000. And just as the noticed another oncoming bike, they ran into the bush.

With the help of the bike man, they informed vigilante members who responded immediately, combed the bush and was able to catch one, while others escaped. Meanwhile, a house belonging to the Fulani Herdsmen inside the forest was discovered.
Our correspondent who was on his way to Chief Sam Olele's house for an appointment ran into the incident and was able to pacify the village people not to do the boy any harm, but to take him to the Divisional Police Headquarters in Issele-Uku.
However, the case had been incidented in the police station, under the supervision of DCO Musa Adekunle. As we report, no community in Anioma is safe from the evil hands of these marauding Fulani Herdsmen.
