PAUSE AND PONDER ; There is still hope

There's a massive advantage in being a loser. The advantage is that THERE'S STILL HOPE AND EXCUSES you can hold on to.

If you make no money and a bitch mistreats you - you can use it as motivation to work harder.

Now think of someone like KANYE WEST, when his wife mistreated him he probably felt 100 times WORSE. He already has money, status, power, fame, game etc. He had to face the pain without having ANY EXCUSE to comfort him.

When Drake gets backstabbed by his friends he can't lie to himself that "I LL BECOME SUCCESSFUL AND SHOW THEM ALL". He's already the most successful. The backstabbings make no sense and hurt harder. Drake has to face the irony of life head on. Doesn't have your privilege to think ONE DAY SUCCESS WILL SOLVE EVERYTHING.

The fact that you have excuses, things to work on and a lot of time ahead of you to improve makes the pain go away faster

When you're still building, betrayal or mistreatment slots easily into a motivating story: "This fuels me. I'll work harder, level up and show them". The pain gets temporally distanced, you're not at the end state, you're in the middle of a comeback arc. Clear pathways exist (skill-building, career moves, self-improvement). This narrative softens the blow and sustains motivation.

At the top, those pathways for the original goals are largely exhausted. You can't credibly tell yourself "one day money/status will solve my problems" because you've already tested that hypothesis at the highest levels. The backstab or mistreatment now sits without an easy external excuse or redemptive future-self story. It forces raw processing: "This happened despite everything I achieved." The irony or senselessness can make it linger longer.
