MASSOB calls for concerted effort for release of Nnamdi Kanu

ABAKALIKI-THE Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, has called on relevant stakeholders in the struggle to concentrate their energies and connections towards the release of Nnamdi Kanu from detention, instead of steering up controversies that would betray the collective interest of the Igbo nation.

Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB and Director of Radio Biafra, being arraigned in Court on Tuesday, April 26, 2016.
In a statement issued in Abakaliki, the National Director of Information, MASSOB, Comrade Samuel Edson stressed on the impact of “uniting our forces together for greater actualization of Biafra”

The statement read in part: “We should concentrate our energies, synergies, diplomacies, connections, affiliations and strengths on the release of Nnamdi Kanu, our brother, a major arrowhead of new Biafra struggle and other possible ways of uniting our forces together for greater actualization of Biafra.

“MASSOB’s reaction is borne out of regards and respect we have for IPOB as a stakeholder in Biafra project. It was unfortunate that unguided and amateur statements were set against the person of our leader
