Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen
Nollywood director and producer, Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen who  just celebrated his 45th birthday is asking everyone to bring back the old Nigeria where things were better than now. He said that it is no longer a thing of pride to be called a Nigerian.
He said “I thank, God almighty for giving me a great life, career achievements, sweet wife, angelic kids, wonderful family both immediate and extended..In-laws beyond words..friends ..schoolmates, colleagues and of course my Edo..The place of my birth. But sadly as I celebrate, I am forced to ask ..Please where is that country I was born into 45 years ago..? Please is it that same Nigeria abeg..?
“Where is that country where NEPA would first announce that by 4pm there will be power outrage till 5pm for maintenance purpose..?..Abeg where is that country where it was 70kobo to one doĺlar..Where is it?..Where is that country where with just 90 naria you are airborne to Lagos from Benin..oh where is that country?..Where is that country where a brand new 504 was yours with just three thousand naria? He asked.
“Oga Senator where is that country where the only reason you need to visit America was for the graduation of your children ..where is that country where a trip to Lagos by road to Benin was a pleasure trip..in three hours you’ve forgotten you traveled please where is that country??..Friends where is that same country where it was pride to be called a Nigerian ?” He wonders.
