In Death, Nigerian Celebrities Ignored OJB – African China
Popular Nigerian music artiste, Chinagorom Onuoha, better known by his stage name, African China, has expressed disappointment in some Nigerian Celebrities.
The artiste poured his heart on celebrities who had kind things to say about the death of ace music producer, OJB Jezreel on the social media, yet never showed up at his funeral.
Recall that the entertainment industry was thrown into mourning following the news and the social media was awash with accolades as songsters and actors penned touching notes.
OJB was, however, buried on Saturday but according to African China, most celebrities didn’t turn up to give him his last respect.
This he said confirmed claims by the deceased’s family that many of those so called friends never showed up to pay condolence visits to them just after his death.
In an interview with HipTv, the ‘OPC’ crooner expressed shock at how celebrities would abandon and ignore the final laying to rest of such a legend who undoubtedly impacted in lives of many.
He said: “I’m really shocked and disappointed to see that we have like over a thousand known celebrities that are so called and have benefited from OJB. It is not really about meeting him.
“Whether or not you met him, he must have inspired you in one way or the other and that was the last respect we were supposed to come show him.

“If it were a manager who passed on, his counterparts would pay him the last respect he deserves, not for you to send your manager, why didn’t you attend?” he queried
